Please Read about misuse of the Airwick coupon!

There is alot of chatter on several forums right now regarding the sale that Dollar General has on Air Wick FreshMatic Ultra - $4 - coupled with a recently released
$4/1 Air Wick FreshMatic Ultra Starter Kit SS 7/10 exp. 8/21
to get the product for FREE.

Some sites are promoting this deal, and others are claiming it is fraudulent coupon use.
After careful research, my conclusion is it is in fact coupon misuse.

Here is a description of what an Ultra FreshMatic Starter Kit is:
"Starter Kit contains: (1) automatic unit, (1) fragrance spray, & (2) AA batteries"
Click HERE to view this quote on the Airwick site.

The product being sold currently at DG is NOT a "starter kit".
It is a refill that contains a FREE gadget.
This does NOT qualify, per Airwick's own description, as a "starter kit".
And therefore, a $4/1 AirWick FreshMatic Ultra Starter Kit coupon
cannot & should not be used!

Just because a blog or FB site says it's OK, does not indeed make it so.
Everyone is entitled to making mistakes. We all have.
But there are people within the Coupon Community, who do indeed
knowingly misuse coupons. Which in turn affects us all greatly in terms of
policy changes, limits, & value of coupons reducing greatly!
PLEASE do not knowingly misuse coupons.
